Eligibility Criteria for NCERT Recruitment

  • LDC: 12th Pass with Typing Speed of 35 w.p.m. (English) or 30 w.p.m. (Hindi).

  • Technician/Technical Posts: 10th/12th + ITI/Diploma or Degree in relevant engineering field.

Age Limit

  • Group A: Max 35-50 Years (Post-wise)

  • Group B: Max 30 Years

  • Group C: Max 27 Years (LDC, Lab Asst, etc.)

  • Relaxation: SC/ST (5 Years), OBC-NCL (3 Years), PwBD (10 Years), Govt Servants (As per rules).

Salary Structure

  • Group A: Level 10-12 (7th CPC)

  • Group B: Level 6-7 (7th CPC)

  • Group C: Level 2-5 (7th CPC)

    • LDC: Level-2

    • Lab Assistant: Level-4

    • Technician Gr-I: Level-5

Selection Process :

The selection process varies based on the post level:

  • Group A Posts: Written Test + Interview (Skill Test where applicable) OR Only Interview (for Superintending Engineer etc.).

  • Group B & C Posts: Written Test and/or Skill Test.

  • Skill Test: Typing Test (for LDC), Proficiency Test (for Technical posts) will be qualifying in nature.

  • Final Merit: Based on marks scored in the Written Test (CBT).
