IBPS SO Recruitment 2026 Notification Released – Apply Online for Specialist Officer Posts

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has officially released the CRP SPL-XVI Notification 2026 for the recruitment of Specialist Officers (SO) in participating Public Sector Banks. Candidates interested in banking careers can apply online from 01 July 2026 to 21 July 2026.

The recruitment includes posts like IT Officer, Agricultural Field Officer, Law Officer, HR/Personnel Officer, Marketing Officer, and Rajbhasha Adhikari. Selection will be through Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, Interview, and Provisional Allotment.

Age Limit (As on 01 July 2026)

• Minimum Age: 20 Years

• Maximum Age: 30 Years

Candidates must be born between 02 July 1996 and 01 July 2006 (both dates inclusive).

Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules.

Educational Qualification

IT Officer

• B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Electronics or related disciplines

• OR Post Graduation in relevant disciplines

Agricultural Field Officer

• Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Veterinary/Fisheries/Agri Engineering etc.

Rajbhasha Adhikari

• Post Graduate Degree in Hindi with English

• OR Sanskrit with Hindi & English

Law Officer

• LLB Degree and enrolled with Bar Council

HR/Personnel Officer

• Graduate + PG Degree/Diploma in HR, Personnel Management, Labour Law, Social Work etc.

Marketing Officer

• Graduate + MBA/MMS/PGDM/PGPM (Marketing)
